  • Multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study 1,2
     
  • Studied a broad population of stable CAD patients without clinical heart failure, similar to those seen in daily practice (see table) 1,2
     
  • Approximately one-third of patients in the study were aged 55 years or less 1,2
     
  • Majority of patients were also receiving contemporary CV protective therapies 1,2
